About CREATIVE EYE DESIGN-BUILD Creative Eye Design + Build is a California-based interior design and construction company with over 15 years of experience. Services offered include space planning, complete design concepts, permitting plans, engineering, specification and purchasing of materials, furniture and lighting as well as complete construction services. Our team of subcontractors have worked with us for many years - we only work with tradespeople who have the highest quality craftsmanship and building ethics. We take pride in our work and build to the highest standards. We are proud of our attention to detail and friendly and honest relationship with our clients. We listen carefully to you when designing your home or business – we strive to meet all of your expectations. We take the time to specify all materials early in the design process in order to stay within the budget allowed. We help you with material selection, either from our showroom or many local showrooms where we have long-term relationships. Susan’s background in art, design, and construction affords her a keen eye for color combinations and a broad understanding of the composition, textures and various uses of textiles. Her travels lend her an understanding of both the origins of design materials and the aesthetic and architectural preferences unique to specific regions. With projects ranging in size from 650-square-foot lofts to 10,000-square-foot custom homes, Susan’s belief is that living in a well-designed environment enhances our lives. Susan’s professional trajectory has remained steadfast: to remain true to herself and to produce quality, inspirational and life-enhancing design. Susan has served clients in New York, Massachusetts, and California for 15 years. She is widely recognized as a leader in the green design movement, and aligns herself with companies and vendors who also embody this ethic. Susan believes that good design can support well-being, and her pioneering use of sustainable materials has enriched her projects with structure and flow that appeals to all the senses. As a licensed general contractor, Susan provides superior professional services – from design and consulting to complete construction. Essential qualities of the company are design excellence, cost effectiveness, quality control and energy efficiency.
